I really like the new look...I just noticed the new header image today. It looks good...Mark, it looks like you didn't sleep through photoshop class! That pic looks really good. I like how the gray tab goes under the E90. Looks very professional. I also noticed a few other changes. All in all, it looks great. You guys have a great little community here!

Very nice! Consistent color scheme, and flowing lines. Super!

And you took out the reputation button too! Good idea.

As an Architect, I think that the new header sucks big time. I like modern, well designed graphics, but the new one is incoherent. Who wants to see a piece of a car? The previous was much better. Send the graphic designer back to the drawing board. The rest of the graphics are fine.

By the way this is a great forum. The focus is on the e90, not endless debates about design, Chris Bangle, why the world of BMW is coming to end, etc, like RF.

Maybe your computer's resolution is set to 800x600. Try changing it to 1024x768. The car pic won't be "a piece" anymore. You'll get the whole thing.

Generally, I like the changes, and you are doing a fabulous job!

If I clicked on a search on member's posts, it used to take me directly to the post itself, not just the page containing the post. I liked that direct link.

In fact, I'd like a direct link to the post containing ANY search result. If I "hit" a lengthy thread, it can take a while to find the post(s) containing the search argument. Is this possible?

Sure, actually me and jwocky were just talking about that and are working on implementing it.

John,

1) you happened to use that function while I was revising the code, so it's back now

2) this function is already available - when you do a search, click the option "Show Results as Post" and you'll be able to go to individual posts.

i like the new little touches that you have made to the site, starting to look really nice. I have a small suggestion, maybe just starting a part of the site dedicated to helping people find others in your area. Such as having a Chicago , LA, NY/NJ, and Seattle area, just as a few suggestions. But the site looks great and keep up the good work.

Digging the new look, Mark. Was going to start a thread to that effect until I saw this one.

I have animated GIF's set to only loop once on my computer which means I usually don't see them. I logged in from another computer to notice that the "new posts" icon is animated.

IMHO the flashing headlights are a bit annoying. This is an entirely minor thing. I like the rest of the new look just fine.

Thanks for enabling the single post view guys.

Thanks for creating the AUDIO + BLUETOOTH forum. It's been needing it's own space for some time now. Can I suggest expanding it to also include IDRIVE? It seems like a logical extension to me since there is so much overlap. Thanks.

(If you do so, good luck on fishing for all the iDrive threads!)
