Just saw Dirty Money on Netflix and how BMW, Mercedes and VW scandal came about. So, if it is true and BMW diesels are just as bad then shouldn’t BMW also offer to buyback like VW... food for thought.

Only in Europe. In the US they meet US standards. How would I know? I waited 5months for mine while the EPA and CARB re-tested them all before certifying the 2017 models for sale.

This is correct ! BMW is the only German manufacturer that is still able to import or sell diesel models for North America (328dx, 540dx and X5d.

Aren't most BMWs made in Europe though? What's the number of cars made in the US to meet US standards?
