Holy hole shot batman!

On the way home yesterday I got behind a brand new M550d xdrive. On the autobahn for the short period before our exit he had no advantage but we got off the autobahn at the first light he was right in front of me. The light turned green and he launched hard and fast! I may have caught it on my dash cam, if I did I will upload the video. Very nice car and that quad turbo is sweet!

Yes, BMW's i6 diesels are in a league of their own. Nothing from the competition comes close unless they use a really big V8 diesel. The specific poweroutput of the m550d engine is immense.
The huge performance advantage bmw had over the competition (audi, mercedes) with their M petrol engines in the 90's they now have with their diesels.

My M57 335d makes over 500 whp and 700 wtq.....and gets 40 mpg.

That number is about to increase to ~ 625 whp and a wtq number TBD.

I have a video of my 335d at a 1/2 mile track event pulling 15 car lengths from a dig on a Comp Package F80 M3 with a tune and DP's.

The M57 is the best kept secret by BMW because Diesel is portrayed in such a bad light.
