Reporting from IMSA Lime Rock race

Saw the new 8 series here today as well as the M8 GTLM cars. Cars bigger than 6er. Did not look good on this track. The race is still on but BMW is not even in the top 6 even though they started in 4th spot. I was here last year, 6er did much better, but Porsche took the crown. Today looks like corvette is dominating all day but the best car in my option were ford. Very very impressive race from the ford team. Both cars were able to move up the food chain during the race.
The winner is TBD. 10 min to the end and ford is 1st followed by corvette and Porsche
Final results: Ford GT, Corvette, Porsche...

I’m miss the Z4 with v8.
The 8 series was a huge disappointment at Mosport...expected better from BMW

I have to wonder why BMW bothers with this. Balance of performance rules are not really true racing and the 8 series is a misfit.
