What happens if you lose your ticket?
When I was in california, I got 2 parking citations.
I lost both as I was coming back to Oregon.. Its been more than 2 weeks. Im getting worried and don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

what department? I completely lost it. Ticket was issued to the rental car i was driving around. I don't know the license plate number, it was under my friend's name, I don't even know the exact location... since Im like.. newbie to cali...

I'm sure if you called the rental company, they will have a record of the car rented and you can go from there. In all likelihood, the city will ping the rental company who will in turn ping your friend, who will in turn ping you... the rental company's not going to get stuck with the bill.

yeah I heard stories about how some of the people thought not paying rental car citation is ok, but later they had to pay crap load on stupid parking citation. I don't want that to happen...
I'll call the rental and see what I can come up with.

Just call up the city/county where you got the ticket & they can provide you with information on the ticket.
Just google up their websites.

Almost worst case: The rental car company will charge the tickets to your credit card you left upon check-in. Happened to my sister when she visited me (and she didn't even know she was ticketed).
