the formation passed right in front of my house on their path for this fly-over.

unfortunately, for the class of 2020, only this last grouping received the fly-over. they separated the class into 5 cohorts of ~200 midshipman and graduated them over the course of days...but only the final cohort received the fly-over.

they will all take their oath of office and receive their commissions as ensigns and second lieutenants virtually tomorrow.

They did their flyby over Manhattan and L.I. but they basically went around where I am. That’s ok, I’ve seen them numerous times over the years starting when I served years ago and almost every other year at the Memorial Day Air Show at Jones Beach, they usually rotate every other year with the Thunderbirds. Unfortunately this weekends show featuring the Angels was cancelled.
