Xbox Live set-up problems
OK - I freely admit I know virtually nothing about computers so I need help.
I'm trying to set-up Xbox live on my wireless network, and am failing miserably. My router model is listed as compatible, but the version I have isn't. But I think they can be configured to work anyways? Here's my prob - when I test the connection from the Xbox 360, it recognizes the usb wirelss adaptor (that's plugged into the Xbox 360), but it doesn't detect a wireless network. It just stops. Even if my router is not compatible, the Xbox should still detect that there's a wireless network right? It just won't be able to connect? Is it possible that the wireless adaptor (on the Xbox) is bad?

Hardwire it...I had the same problem and couldn't get it to connect. Just go to Fry's Electronics, etc. and pick up a longer ethernet cable and plug it in and you're ready to go.
