Further dilution of the M brand. Why can't people who want a real M car just save up more dollars for a real M car?

The M badge on the fender has been going on for almost a decade. It's just deleted for the US market.

That looks hideous. The rear roof slope looks more like a Benz than a BMW. And the front reminds me of the Nissan IDx concept, and not in a good way.

Headlights look lame in all these leaked photos and renders. They look like Audi lights and are too small for the front. Yeah for the kidneys I guess.

These triangular air intakes are painful to look at.

IF this render is at all accurate, it becomes apparent that the current crop of BMW designers have made some of the same mistakes they made on the 2 GC and the 4.

One of the mistakes I heard the former designer of the X5 mention was how the crease no longer goes through the doorhandles and we see that mistake in the 2 GC and this render as well.

This video goes over the mistakes in the 2 GC and mentions that as well as problems with the headlights, tail lights, and air scoops.

It's not bad, but I am honestly a bit disappointed that it is somewhat plain and the overall theme is so similar to the FWD 1 Series sedan and 2 Series GC. BMW had the opportunity to take this vehicle in a completely new direction (CSL Homage Concept) and really went conservative.
