G42 M240i on Display in Toronto
Hey Guys,
If you live in Toronto, Canada and are interested in seeing the new M240i in person you will have a chance over the next two weeks. BMW Canada is bringing a pre-production unit to all of the GTA dealerships so you will have a chance to view it in person and sit inside. Please note there will be no test drives. Contact your local dealership for the dates of when they will have the car. |

Do you know when will it be at Parkview? I service and get parts there occasionally, but don't really have an affiliation to any GTA dealers.

Meaning for the 230i, Canada has to wait for the xDrive version. Thanks

I saw the car last night. It actually does look better "in person".
It's not as I would've designed it, but still better than other new designs. But designs have to change. As much as I liked our previous E46, I would't get one today. That being said - I wish there were more dark colors available. This dark purple hides the big chunks of black nicely. An "Imperial blue" would've been nice for this one too. Also - and this may sound contradictory - the black shadowline package is a must in my books. The brushed look kidney grille and triangular air intake trim is just too much color. The interior seems like a bit better quality than the current 2 series, although I wish there were some more leather bits in the door and dash, and that Merino leather was available for this model.

Would like to see the Canadian 230i xDrive get optional M Sport Brakes, M Sport Diff, and Adaptive M Suspension, without M Sport Styling Package. That would be sweet.

amazing how many folks state this G42 looks better in person, that is almost universal. Good sign!!
That said, I wish some of the M Sports additional cladding didn't exist but guess BMW is trying to separate the M sports version even more than current Generation |

We all know there is a market for the "over styling" that is happening. That said, they can offer options to not force people to drive cars they personally find ugly, or go elsewhere. We are talking plastic bits for the most part. Hope BMW Canada is listening when they package the 230i.
