Yeah, we were going to splurge on our 2017 road trip vacation in the Z3, but we didn't get to the Grand Canyon to stay at that hotel. We did splurge though and stayed a few nights at the 4 Seasons in Jackson Hole. Had a room right at the bottom of the slopes, but it was September... Lol.

That Amangiri place just looks neat as hell.

My guess would be that the restaurant was at the Red Caboose Motel in Strasburg (near Amish country), which has a restaurant in a rail car along with three dozen or so cabooses to rent as motel rooms:

Probably not what the OP was looking for as a getaway, but I could see myself booking a birthday weekend getaway in a caboose.

The St Regis at Deer Valley (Utah) is probably my favorite.
Nemacolin is a unique experience in the Midwest.
Garden of the Gods Resort (Colorado) isn't going to be by top restaurants but it's still a cool experience.
