So I'm guessing the "Hifi Audio" is what was put in place because there is a shortage Harmon Karden systems?

There isn't a paint option in the world that can save that rear end + those tail lights. The G80 grew on me, the rear end of the new 2 series hasn't.

And is it really 1750kg??? Jesus. How/why does this smaller 2 series sporty coupe weigh more than my G80?

HiFi audio was standard on the F22 as well, with HK being an upgrade. Nothing new there.

That is in fact the case still. for me personally I can barely tell the difference between the two systems

I disagree. Paint is too similar to Estriol blue. Too many deleted specs. Maybe the upcoming M2.
They're not that similar in person. Estoril is much lighter.

Wish I could say the same. I definitely notice the difference on my now non HK system.

HK wasn't anything amazing but it's def a step up IMO.

The HK on the F2x/F87 is crap (I had it on mine), not as good as on the F3x/F8x although it is still an upgrade over the base system.
On the G42 it's very similar to the G20 (only 2 less speakers but same amp), much better.

Those MPG figures are impressive given the extra weight of X-drive

Car looks great, although I can't stand that BMW is putting black high gloss parts all over the exterior (ex: side skirts, rear diffuser) I had it in my X5 and is VERY prone to scratches and swirl marks.

That weight can't be right, my R35 GT-R was only 3,900 lbs and it was a way bigger car.

1750 kg EU means 1675 kg DIN.
For comparison, the M440i xDrive (with mild-hybrid 48v module) weighs 1815/1740 kg, the M4 xDrive 1850/1775 kg, the M2 Competition Dkg was 1650/1575 kg.
It's not a light car, but 100kg more than the M2C is reasonable considering the increased size and technology and the xDrive.
The RWD version should be about 50 kg lighter.

I didn't realize how weird that looks until now. That is why the white or Grey looks good now. I dig the purple with this mix because it is a darker color to begin with. I decked mine out with black wheels, black kidney grills and no chrome at all basically.

Nice to see someone posting some sensible comment on the weight issue.

I have to quote myself for a correction, here in Europe the M240i xDrive is claimed to be 1765/1690 kg. All other figures are correct.

Exactly. Estoril looks NOTHING like Portimao. Portimao is a lot more like San Marino (which is on my car).
