Gang; I had same ZF Transmission in my 2018.

If you use the the gear shifter it stays in manual mode. Also I was able to drive in sport mode for the chassis & steering but remain in comfort mode for engine & transmission shift points. You select this via the touchscreen menu

I love the ones that sound great and then you discover in the comments they also removed the resonator and the cat.
Thank you. I don't it crazy loud since it'll be my daily, but my 340 has the M-Power kit and exhaust and I really like how it sounds in Sport. It is all stock otherwise.

Thank you for posting this. But what do they mean by "turn on drive readiness"?
My assumption is just turn the car on 🤷🏻*♂️ Maybe someone with more experience/knowledge can follow up.

Pretty sure that's all that means. Probably sounded better in the original German. The procedure hasn't really changed from the F22

This is going to sound dumb, but did the F30 also have launch mode? Did I drive my car (6MT) for 3 years and not even realize it?

I don’t think you missed anything, I’m pretty sure it required the ZF8 automatic.
