That's the way to go, the chrome trim doesn't look good imo. I think shadowline is more proper for the car.

I see Titanium/Gunmetal trim on the front and mirrors, not chrome. Am I missing something?

Indeed and there are pictures here of a few dealer cars in BSM but all have the cerium gray details, non that I’ve seen have the extended shadowline package.

Cerium grey is what it's called for the M Performance models. Window trim was chrome though

I like the purple.

Still dislike the rear though, looks particularly bulbous with black sapphire metallic.

The garage pics have some reflections that almost make it look like chrome window trim, but if you look closely you'll see it's gloss black.

Cerium grey… now I know.

Looks like a matte version of Ferric grey.

On the configurator it shows body colored mirrors on all colors for the 230i with extended shadowline but black mirrors on all colors for the M240i with extended shadowline.

Ultimately it was why I didn't get shadowline. I liked the lighter color mirror caps to offset the Black sapphire metallic and black wheels.

Plus the adaptive LEDs look better without the shadowline.

Ok, my order is Blue and I want the kidney grille & triangular air intakes blacked out. My 2018 230i was mineral Gray & looked great with the black kidney grilles per almost everyone.

And PS; your black metallic M240 looks mean & lean in your photos; I love it and Best of luck and enjoy!!

I like the rear end a lot & all the angles of the car actually. This is coming from a previous 135i owner & current M2 owner. This could be a replacement for the M2.

BMW hallmark designs are basically dead. No more "L" taillights they've had for 30+ years. Lost the twin headlight. At least they kept the kink and the high door line. This is a dud.

Looks great & very aggressive looking; yes BMW got away from a few hallmark elements . But all BMWs do not have to all look alike. This was bold move by BMW and has been growing on me the last few months. And I am owner of 3 former BMW Coupes from 2002 to June 2022 when I sold my 2018 230i. Can’t wait to drive this!!!
