I think I'll have more ground clearance in the bmw vs my fiesta when it finally starts production. I'm a little frustrated having ordered a month ago and still haven't gone into production. : The bmw and fiesta are so different in every way it'll take some getting used to. |

Any concern with the salt, sand and road treatment chemicals damaging the vehicle? They salted the roads here today in preparation for a light dusting of snow and I'm really reluctant to even take the m240i out.
We have an X3 that will get a lot of usage during the winter. I know the m240i has x drive as well but with it sitting so much closer to the ground, it gives me enough pause to where I probably wouldn't drive it unless the roads are clear of salt. |

Vehicels go through a ton of testing in various conditions before they are released so I'm sure it won't hurt the M240 (I plan to DD mine in MI), well except for maybe a rock chip in the paint.
IF its something you're going to keep, or are just super picky about your cars get it PPF'ed as mentioned. Not sure if the M240 will be the same, but I found both of the F30's I've had are stone chip magnets. I PPF'ed my Boxster because I do occasional track days and wanted that car to stay perfect, or very close to it!
