does anyone know if these parts are available to be added to the new m240i yet? the car I ordered is in transit and should be here in a few weeks. I would love to have a few of these parts I like added before I take delivery, but my dealer keeps telling me they don't have any info on them.

The additional arches are included with the 893m wheels to accommodate the wider wheels (8.5/9.5 with 245/255 tires instead of 8/8.5 and 225/255).
The 20" wheels are still 8/8.5 (no extra arches then) so there they probably put the wheels on a car "born" with the 893m. |

Do USA cars have the same lip? Looks tacky to me, just my opinion, no offense. Its like a cheap piece of plastic just put on it. Wonder if they can be removed??? |

If you don't like the arch lip avoid the 893m wheels. |

Yes, because the US has the same regulations as Europe in this regard. The tires cannot stick out past the fender of the vehicle. The cheap fender extender is to meet this regulation with the wider tires.

Are those added on any other wheel type you can choose with the M240i? Last edited by damills; 12-11-2021 at 01:19 PM.. |

No, just the 893M wheels get the lips.
It's interesting that the regular cars come with an 8.5" rear with a 255 tire, but the ZTK uses a 1" wider 9.5" wheel with the same sized tire.
