Was anyone else from E90post at today's US Open championship in SD?

Today's (6-16-08) US Open PGA championship battle between Tiger Woods and Rocco Mediate at the Torry Pines golf course in La Jolla, San Diego. . . . . was great.

The tournament was supposed to end yesterday (Sunday), but after both Tiger and Rocco came to a tie at the end, they had to play all 18 holes of the course all over again today to determine the winner.

After 18 holes, they tied again at the end! Moving them onto a sudden death match where the players are required to play 3 more holes and whoever wins even the first hole, wins, without progressing to the next 2 holes. So, one under par, Tiger made it and finished the US Open winning his 7.5 million dollar purse, and another 93-100 million in endorsements.

It was exciting and fun. So, was anyone from the bimmer forums there as well?

I wish I was there.

I like Tiger, but it would have been cool to see Rocco win.

Yea, a lot of people wanted Rocco to win just to have someone else win for a change. . . . but I was going for either one! Both played so well and deserved the title

wish i was there since i live in san diego, but couldn't go AWOL from work. pretty exciting day. it was a close one for either of them.
