Mine has been in Ready for Transport only 6 days but I had placed my order 11/23 so haven’t been waiting as long as you guys.
Mine moved to "At the Port" last Thursday (according to BMW Genius--My Garage still shows "Final Assembly") after the order was placed (and build number received) on Oct. 25. The Genius would not give me an estimated delivery date, citing likely slow downs due to the holidays and COVID as possible reasons for delays.

The wait continues!! Ah the agony!!

Maybe the guy was hedging and added in a ton of buffer (like a month?!?). Under-promise and over-deliver. Original purchase order quoted delivery 12/23 (3 months to the day from ordering) so it's just painful knowing the car is done and is just sitting patiently (as opposed to its future-owner who is champing at the bit!!).

I feel like a kid waiting for Santa to show up in a 389-hp sleigh…

Where exactly do you live? I was told by genius that strong possibility of a prior to February delivery to east coast.

Maryland. Today, CA told me it'll be January but not sure why they aren't consistent with their estimates…

When I saw you transitioned out of "Ready for Transport", I logged in to check on mine hoping to see something similar. I got super excited to see I was "In Transit". I had called BMW Genius yesterday and got the generic it will be soon, no further info (even though it had been assigned and was being loaded). I called back today to find out it is on the Glovis Cosmos, due to dock at Port Bayonne, NJ January 8th.

I suppose there's a chance we are on the same boat if my update is lagging. Same here when I called the other day; no info except "expect delays due to COVID and the holiday, delivery by end of Feb". Hopefully overestimating at this point….

Well darn, me thinks they only have one ship for the east coast and based on the timeliness, my car being ready to ship now...I'm probably not looking at seeing my car until February.

Mine jumped today to "in transit " from "ready to transport " too! I'm assuming that it's on the Glovis Cosmos also, as I'm on Long Island and Bayonne is the likely port. Guess I better start looking for the winter wheels 👍

What a day! Woke up at 5:30 at "Ready for Transport" for the 12th day, only to see it go to "Awaiting…" later in the morning, and NOW, low and behold, it says "In Transit" 5 hours later… what gives?

Wooo! Look at that. Lucky! Mine has been built and sitting since 12/9, but stuck in "final assembly". Here's hoping we are on the same ship

I realllly hope mine goes to in transit tomorrow, or just gets to my East coast dealer before Febuary 8th. Otherwise I'll need to get a new preapproval and I just don't want the additional credit pull.
