When I first started reading reviews on RFT's (Turanza LS100 A)
I was terrified. After 1800 miles I have to say they are fine for everyday driving. My question is, How well will they hold up and handle under spirited driving?

The better question is how well will they hold up against potholes (badly). Mine always drove decently but they’re expensive and incredibly susceptible to sidewall damage.

They have stiffer sidewalls, which is exactly the problem. They have no give when you hit something like a pothole. And it isn't safe to drive on them when they have sidewall damage.

Thank you for your feedback. I guess I'll have to keep my fingers crossed. For anyone else that also has the Turanza LS100 A run flats, What has been your experience or history with these tires?

Mine came with the pirelli cinturato A/S run flats. Replaced them within 5 days.

My wifes last X3 had Cinturatos. Over 3 years I replaced 4 or 5 tires at different times due to sidewall bulging. I hope my M240 wasn't built with them!

I replaced a dozen run flats on my old 228ix. Zero punctures, all sidewall damage. Be on the look out for potholes, and I resorted to adding a few extra PSI. It's ironic, but the run flats go flat more often than non run flats.

Has ANYONE had a positive experience with Run flats ?

I had run-flat Pirelli's on my 2018 that I sold in June 2021. The ride and handling was better than I expected, but I did experience one flat and one slow leak on another. Were my first flats in > 20 years so I'm not a fan.

Therefore when I ordered my 2022 M240 I chose performance non-run flats..

Yeah I had them on my 2009 328 and 2015 335. All seasons.

They were great in the Colorado mountain snow and I never had any bulge issues, which was surprising given how bad roads are in Denver. A couple flats due to punctures and it was super convenient to still be able to drive to the dealer.

From a handling perspective I thought they were solid on the E90. It was xDrive so I wasn't really after summer performance. The F30 chassis is rubbish regardless of tire so no comment there, other than the aforementioned performance in the mountain snow.
