lease vs buy

new to bmw. really interested in the m240.
wanted to survey the group here.

did you lease or buy?

i am thinking to lease as its my first bmw but not sure.

I buying mine.. my goal is to keep the car for a long time. I'm able to work from home all the time, so it'll likely only get 5000 to 7000 miles a year.

I'm buying mine as well, I drive and enjoy driving my cars way too much to be able to lease. I average around 20,000 miles a year. I also intend on modifying the car as well which definitely played a huge part in my decision

purchase here also... intend on keep, therefore why I ordered a M240 and not my original intent 230i

If u're not sure about the car, always lease especial in CA. the 10% sales tax is gone that never comes back why you buy, unlike other states you may have tax credit. leasing you're only paying tax on the monthly portion. You can always buy it if you really like the car.

I plan on leasing. I know I'm going to love the car but I'm sure in three years I will want something new.
