It took me 20+ years to make it to Machu Pichu.

I met someone there . . .

Peru
Lago Humantay was unreal when I visited. My favorite part of my trip to Peru.

Area of the world: Giverny, France
Accommodation Info: Booked an Airbnb
Cost: $200 for 2 nights
Pros/Cons:

Pros:
Amazing place right in Giverny. A quick walk to Monet's Gardens. Enjoy when the tourists are all gone. Not far outside of the city of Paris so can be included in a trip to Normandy and Paris. Has a kitchen and washing machine. My wife and I do our trips out of a carry on bag for 3 weeks so washing machines in airbnb are a must. We'll do all the tourist stuff and then on the last day after lunch we'll chill and do all the laundry, relax and cook a nice dinner. This was a nice relaxing two days and scored points with the wife as she loves Monet.

Cons:
You'll have to rent a car if you want to venture anywhere beside the town and the Gardens. This airbnb has low ceilings on the first floor, there is another on the top floor not sure ceiling height. Wifi was terrible.

Pics of the town and Monet's Gardens:
