Any European customers on here who have the M240i on order?

First customer deliveries in Europe are expected end of january…
In Europe, we are unfortunatly not capable of tracking our cars in the production process…. Or to call a Genius hotline…
Only way to have a update, is stalking your dealer, who can see the status code in their computer. Luckely I know my dealer personally and he doesn’t mind me asking updates weekly.

I ordered my car in Belgium on the 4th of october, and was told I ordered one of the very first ones in Belgium. I got my Vin number from my dealer when the car went in production.
Production date: 10th december 2021
Last status code I got on 20th december 2021 was 155 (production complete)
Expected car delivey: first week of february.

Where are your cars at? Did you get a status code from your dealers yet?

Hello from Spain

I had ordered on 7th of July... Pretty sure that I was one of the firsts in Spain, at least.

My production date is December, and ETA is first week of March..

I will ask for production status after Christmas Holidays.. hope there will no delays...

I had heard that some cars will be at dealers but won't be released til March, that's in the uk so guessing rest of Europe may be same?

Yeah, I heard official launch date for UK had been moved to March, but in Europe official launch should still be 20th of January.
My contract even says delivery of the car at the latest 18th february. And was told it really was at the latest with normal delivery on the 7th of february… (and maybe even faster, but I doubt that with the status code it was in last week)

Who knows… let’s hope it won’t take to long anymore.
The wait is the most difficult part. Haha

My contract indicates that the ETA is February but at per my BMW dealer, (and friend) the real date when I will get the car to home is one week and a half plus because of final ground transportation,documents management etc.

re: Euro orders, do you guys know if your cars (M240x) are being built in Mexico or? I'm trying to confirm if ALL M240s are built in Mexico or if some are built elsewhere? (no special reason, just curious as all info from BMW is they are all made in Mexico but some folks seem to think some are made in Euro or elsewhere?

thanks for that, i was wondering as there was a dealer insisting that 10-15 percent of the 2022 M240x were being made elsewhere. I'm getting to trust very little of what most car salespeople claim as fact.

Yeah… they are 100% ALL being made in Mexico.

Even the G87 M2 will only be made in Mexico.
