Active Cruise Control in new builds
So I found out from these forums that the ACC is not standard in the tech pack, or any of the packs. I spec'd my build out to be fully loaded according to the build configurator on the BMW website and I wanted eeeeevvverything. But ACC was not included (there was even no option for it)?!?!?!?!
I contacted my dealer and he replied that ACC was not available to add on his end either. I was just wondering if anyone else came across this issue on their recent builds? Although it will not be a deal breaker for me, I am just extremely bummed out because I'm spending 60k on a car and it doesn't have something a 40k car has. BTW my car is still waiting to be sent into production (112 status). |

He responded to me today saying that it was not a selectable option for the vehicle on his end. I am assuming BMW cut it out due to the chip shortage? I would like to assume that he's not BSing me since he was pretty helpful during the whole process and got me a good deal on the car.

Extremely disappointing how BMW has swept features under the rug and not informed customers in order to make sales happen. 20k cars have lane keep and ACC. It's truly unacceptable for a 60k car, but I do note that the base is like 37 and the tech doesn't really change with the 240. |
