Hi all,

Collected my M240i from the Dealership last week and I have noticed that when using the iDrive navigation around Sydney that numbered roads are referred to as, for example, MM1, and AA8. Is this a software bug that causes the additional letter or some alternative road numbering scheme that I am unaware of? I haven't seen this issue using other mapping software (VW, Apple Maps).

If is is a bug, how would I go about reporting it? I assume that if/when BMW correct the road labelling they would just push a map update at some point?

Replying to myself but either BMW recently updated ANZ maps or my car's VIN was recently added to their systems because I was able to download Australia/New Zealand 2021-2 (my version was 2021-1) and so far it looks like the major road naming is fixed.

It took a few weeks before I got my first OTA map update (in the US) from 2021-2 to 2021-3. After that I very quickly got another update to 2021-4. So you might even have more updates coming.
