I legit live like an hour up the road from um and tried to offer up my whip for testing 😉 and when they said they already had one coming there went my shot at a discounted exhaust lol In all seriousness, I can't wait to see what / if anything transfers over from the 3 series

I heard valvetronic has one in the works as well. Idk what is confirmed on that but at least there will be options. I just want the adjustable springs from Dinan.

Dinan m340i tune will work. Supra downpipe work's with the g42 m240i. Nobody's done suspension yet (springs) on a g42

I know you guys just got the car but usually how long would it take you guys to figure out if the exhaust system needs to be designed from scratch or if a different exhaust can be carried over?

Almost gauranteed it won't be a direct swap over from the M340i. The can will likely be the same but the rest of the geometry will have to be tweaked a bit. Will know for sure within the first couple weeks though after the car is broken in, evaluated, and scanned.

UPDATE: Got our first detailed look at the exhaust this morning prior to scanning. Just on measurements alone there are some subtle, albeit very challenging, differences that will need to be addressed so it will be a new system on the M240i.

AWE primarily does exhaust systems right? Not tunes. They probably dont think a lot of people are going to buy a $3k exhaust for a $55k car.
