Does dealer matter after delivery?

Hello,

I'm on the market for an M240i and looking to purchase out of state due to availability.

I'm fairly new to the US and I bought my current car new from the dealer and one thing I noticed is that the Services bought were only valid at their location and not all dealers which it was annoying.

Does dealer matter after delivery? Anything to consider? or it is as easy as come to a near dealer after I got the car?

none really, warranty coverage is BMW Corporate.. Only minor issue is if you have an immediate issue w/car may help dealing w/selling dealer. I bought mine in NC, live in S. Carolina.. Picked it up 2 Saturdays ago & zero worries

Amy warranty work needed can be done at any dealer. However, some dealers may sell their own specific service packages so I understand why you would have to use them. If you added a BMW Ultimate Care plus bundle, then that can be used at any dealer.
