Best Cover for Outside?
My M240i lives outside in Maryland year-round. Can anyone endorse the best cover I should buy (short of a garage/carport, haha)? This is my daily driver so I don't want anything too inconvenient. I travel at least a week per month and would like to keep it covered during these trips.
Thanks! |

Covers can trap and hold moisture, not good. Covers trap and hold dirt and debris, you can thus get micro scratches from the repeatedly placing and removing of the cover. You can get abrasions on the paint if subject to windy conditions with the cover. etc. I have used my own covers for indoor storage of infrequently driven classic cars. I dislike the heavy production covers, i simply sewed together used cotton sheets to lightly cover/drape the general shape of the car. |
