Hey all,

Has anyone received any 230is recently? This forum is full of 240is.

Btw, if anyone is looking to swap rims, I got the 780 style rims without realizing that I could upgrade to the 19 inch rims (Don't ask). Having real bad buyers remorse about it since the 19 inch rims make the car look so much more sporty.

I know, all everyone wants is horsepower...handling be damned. I get it though, a RWD M240 or M2 is in my future. It's just not necessary if you ain't going to the track, that B48 (esp with a Dinan Stage 1) will do.

I am taking delivery of a 230 MSport/Handling Package car in about a week. I got the black m sport rims with non-run flats. They'll be coming off and for sale if my aftermarket rims fit well. I'll be tracking ebay prices and posting on ebay.

Made the mistake of not taking pictures of a Melbourne red 230i at my dealer, but I'll be sure to snap one when I'm back later this week. Red suites the car very well!

The 230i looks better than the M240i to me. That Alpine White 230i above looks almost perfect. Shadowline will make it perfect.

I prefer the 230i's color matched side skirts, real exhaust tips, and overall lower rear styling treatment.

I love the BSM on mine, but after seeing the photos and videos "in person", the alpine looks 10x better than photos online.

This may not relate too much to the topic, but I stopped at the dealership to see if they had my 240i sitting out and they had this 230i (crevier BMW).

Looks awesome in person.

I'm glad you think so...my new Alpine White 230i M Sport just arrived today. (I take delivery Monday)

I can attest to the common-place observation many have had that the new Two looks much better "in the flesh!"

UPDATE: Took deliver this afternoon. It is a very nice car. I have not pushed it, and will be changing the wheels out immediately (to keep value in the OE wheels for eBay), but I do love that quality, tight, German feel of a BMW. I'll wring it out later, and post my thoughts and impressions, along with pix, later this or next week.

UPDATE 2: Late with the pix...sorry...the wheels are aftermarket (O.Z. Superturismo LM with 255s on each corner). I just love the way this thing handles and changes direction!

Waiting on mine too, 4 weeks out.... 230i Mineral White Metallic with the M Sport Pkg.
Already have the Dinan air box, braces and a Burger Motorsports JB4 waiting for it. I have the 848 wheels in 18" still trying to figure out what wheels I want. Probably will just see how it rides and looks to make the decision.

I got the 230i M sport 3 weeks ago instead of waiting for the M240i delivery. It looks exactly the same as the M240i besides the exhaust and color of the skirts. Overall I found that the car has everything I need for it to be my daily driver + everything you expect out of a bmw. I also think (compared to my wife'w X3 xdrive) the RWD 230i feels lighter and nicer on turns
