Regular Partial Digital Gauges

I have this and am pleased instead of all digital.

Thought I would share as main topic as lots of people ask.

This is what i wanted until I realized you couldn't get the adaptive Leds without premium package. So alas, I had to change my order and now stuck with the digital dash. Although, I do admit, I have grown used to it amazingly.

Lol I just noticed that your dash has m240i on it. The live cockpit pro doesn't have model designation anywhere!

I have the dial gages on my 2019 330i xdrive and love them. I also specifically ordered them on my (just getting ready to ship) 2022 M240i.

The dial gages have all the info that I need at a glance. And to me they look more appropriate on a sports car. Then again I’m an old-timer.

If dials are good enough for Porsche, well then…

With the HUD, I will barely be looking at the gauges below.

I honestly don't like the hud. I turn it off most of the time.

I thought I'd use the hud in my Supra, but hardly ever look at it. The last research paper that I looked at couldn't find a significant decrease in accidents in cars equipped with huds. I suspect there maybe is, but it's probably not all that large of an effect (there could be newer data). The live cockpit pro digital dash is fine, but not worth the money to me. I use Waze, which I assume still doesn't integrate into the dash display

I could see where it makes great sense for lots of folks, however.

I exclusively used the HUD on my BMW X2M35i due to distance of instrumentation cluster versus the larger windshield.

And this vehicle the HUD is really tiny and the distance between the instrumentation cluster and where the HUD projects is really not that far off.

I was first thinking that I was disappointed not getting the HUD but now that I've been driving my car for about 500 miles I'm quite happy because the instrumentation cluster provides so much more information than my previous car.

Looks clean and functional. Hate to say I prefer the previous gen semi-digital cockpit for it's simplicity.

Dunno what you’re talking about, I’d say it’s fairly giant compared to other ones I’ve used. Note that it doesn’t use most of the HUD area unless you’re navigating or changing music.

It's almost too simple. The oil temp gauge alone will be a nice upgrade
