Ready for transport for weeks

Hello all,
From my understanding like half of us are at the port waiting carrier assignment. Has anyone talked to there dealer/bmw genius and gotten any updates on any ships we might be aboard soon?

I was wondering this too. I just got off the phone with genius and all they told me is my car is in transit to the port since the 18th. No update on ship(s) available either. I hope something happens soon. I am tired of this wait knowing the car is built and they are taking there sweet time to get it to us. Might be a row boat.

why can't it just be that our cars are just on boats.. on their way to us.. and not just sitting in a giant parking lot... exposed to the elements

My car too has been waiting.

This is only a guess but I presume BMW is not going to load a ship that is only say 1/3 full of finished cars. If there is a delay with parts behind the cars that are finished, that will most likely impact the loading until a full complement is ready for shipping.

My 2019 BMW 330i took 6-weeks. Do I like what is happening? Heck no. My test drive convinced me to order a M240i on the spot and the reviews of the car have me drooling. At least I know its finished. It will get here someday, even if that’s another 2-month wait.

Back in the 90s I bought a custom and rather expensive telescope, and that took 11-months to get.

i can understand that.. it'd be really helpful if they published some kind of high level shipping schedule, or something where we could see, what the frequency of ships are, is it 1 ship a month, or every 2 weeks.. one would think this should be somewhat predicatable

if anyone is a ship junky... i think our ship might be glovis captain.

it's on it's way to Altamira, Mexico

it's going to Georgia as listed here:
https://gaports.com/facilities/port-...ck/?1647439229

it's going to newark as listed here:
https://sallaumlines.us/schedule/

so if that's the case i'd hope to have my car by the end of april
