When Should Production End On '22's?

My son is wanting the new BRZ or 86, but was told production on the 22's has already ended. That made me wonder about the M240i and how much longer BMW will be accepting orders for the '22's.

I'm supposed to be next in line for my dealer's next allocation at the first of the month, and not really wanting the '23 with the new iDrive 8.

Toyota/Subaru are having very significant supply issues with the 86/BRZ. I tried to order one and they told me you can't custom order (only the dealer gets allocations/builds) and the soonest a car would show up was 7 months, which I assume would have made it a 2023 model. Made it easier for me to pull the trigger on the M240i, I guess.
