Thundernight with Oyster Vernasca Leather
While waiting for my car to be built I have checked out every thread, photo and video that I can find and it seems like I am the only one that thinks Oyster Leather is the right choice for Thundernight? Anyone else order Oyster and Thundernight?

careful bringing up Oyster leather in this forum.... it's a touchy subject...
in all seriousness, if i were going with thundernight.. i'd choose Oyster too.. so much of the interior of the car is dark, I want it to be lighter. my car is black sapphire, and i went with oyster... i would have done cognac if it had come in leather |

I think that combo looks great, but I could never deal with having an interior color that light & prone to staining. If you can make it work, more power to you!

I have Thundernight with Canberra beige. Oyster is just a tad lighter I think and difficult to tell the difference in color if the seats didn't also have a different design.

check out this thread https://g42.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...ghlight=oyster
I considered it, but was cautioned against it (staining). I do think it looks good. |

I have Oyster in my 19' Med Blue 230i and I absolutely love it. Never had any issues with stains or maintenance. I actually think it shows less dirt than darker materials. This is coming from someone with a BG/Black blue stitching m240 on order. If I were going Thundernight, my choice would be Oyster all day.

I am almost 8 years into Oyster with then-available Valencia Orange on my 2015. Still looks new with reasonable care, and the combination looks excellent...shown here with recently acquired surprisingly matching coco mats. I agree it would be a beautiful contrast to Thundernight versus a dark, cave-like black. Thundernight and Oyster would be my first choice new 2 Series as well. Go for it!
