Hi, i wonder does anyone here got option HUD on 230i ?? I've seen many many many videos on utube and their 230 still had that option but i ordered in Feb-18 and didnt see that option on website (usa)
I know because shortage, but does anyone still have that ?

Due to parts shortage, HUD has been deleted from 230i vehicles since October. Its called Premium 2 pkg; I think its a $700 reduction vs prior Premium pkg

Yep. Only the very earliest 230i orders could get it. BMW dropped it from all the 30i models late last year due to parts shortages.

It's always been available on the M240i though.

Damn, is that expensive it might be lucky for me when they cut that option. I need a head light high beam on Premium 2 pkg, but extra 700$ in premium 2 pkg isn't work for me

I like the HUD in my X3, but can't see it when wearing sunglasses. Also it isn't Applecarplay compatible so turn-by-turn guidance isn't visible unless using BMW NAV. With all that being said I don't miss it in my 230i, live cockpit pro more than makes up for it.

Do you have the newest idrive in ur x3 or is it an older model? I know the newest ones support apple maps integration into the HUD

Darn I have the premium package and didn’t know it would of had the HUD. My 230i was manufactured Jan 22.

The car I test drove had it. I couldn't see it w/ sunglasses on either. Not worth it to me.

You just need non-polarized sunglasses.

I figured that's what it was. If it was available I would have ticked the box but I fine without it.

Have you used a HUD before? It's one of those things that you can live without, however once you use it you will never not option it on a car

One time and that was the test drive I mentioned earlier. haha.

I'm sure I would love it and I have always wanted to have HUD on a car but it was never an option until I went to BMW.

When I was shopping my choice was, get a car that was ~95% what I wanted (and more $) in 4-5 weeks or use the dealers last allocation and wait months. I went the former route and that car does not have the HUD.

Picked it up yesterday. So happy

most 230i's the HUD was dropped due to supply issues and $750 credit.. I love the HUD
