G42 M240i quicker than G80 M3 Competition? Track comparison by Matthias Malmedie

I came across this YouTube video and it looks like this guy was able to lap quicker in the M240 than the M3 Competition. I can't understand a single word and don't know the details on the M3 run but this car definitely punch above its weight.

The guy is definitely enthusiastic and although I couldn't understand what he was saying, it was entertaining to watch. In terms of the lap times I think if it were a track with some longer straights then the M3 would have been quicker, it is a known fact that the S58 suffers from a lack of low down torque. The M240i is a little rocket ship!

I watched his review yesterday. Matthias is really a great journalist, I really enjoy the person

But talking to the G42, it seems to be a pocket rocket and that's good!

You won't believe how many discussions I've had with people trying to tell me their diesel would be so much faster than a more powerful petrol engine, because all of the torque.

Sport Auto have run the M4 (quicker than M3) 😉 around the Hockenheim with a 1.53.9 vs 2.00.4

M240i is best buy at the moment for money and what BMW offer.

Also very beautiful car special in purple. And it has normal size grill.
