Not surprising, Lexus is currently offering a turbocharged 4-cylinder drivetrain, with a pair of electric motors – one per axle - pushing close to 400hp. I could see BMW offering up something like this for the next generation of the 2 Series/M2..

One thing he didn't explicitly mention that is pretty obvious to me; the next version of the M2 will not have a manual transmission option.. #Sad 🥲

gas will be at $10 a gallon by that time anyway. I'm sure it will still be a fun car though whatever they do.

Overhere RON95 already costs €2.50/ litre = € 9.45 /US Gallon, so >10 US$
