Just washed
Just my first pics after a maintenance wash. Got some horrible stains on the kidney grilles. Anyone noticed this? I can't remove them

That piano black is a PITA. In fact, all the pieces on the front are. I was doing a quick spray wax and I got some on the black portion around the grill that you're showing. It had a chance to dry and 'set-up' and I couldn't buff it out (actually introduced some major swirls trying to). I went in with a polish and my mini orbital (griots complete compound followed by the one-step sealant with 3" fast microfiber pads; don't forget to tape up the grill and any other parts you don't want polish on). Worked well but considering how sensitive these piano black trim pieces are I'm thinking of getting them PPF'd. However, I plan on trading up to the M2 next year so not sure it's worth it. Good luck and happy motoring!

Try cleaner polish. It almost looks like hard water stains so you could possibly try CLR remover as well. But, I agree with the group make the dealer fix this or replace them
