I'm not fully aware of the supposed delivery date of the new M2 G87 to the public, but a a local official BMW dealer person, in Girona Spain, said to me yesterday that they already have one unit of the car in the back or their shop. He did not show it to me because I had to leave for an unrelated matter, but the point is that the car is definitely already there.

Not sure if this is something known to the forum. I can guess that BMW is starting to ship M2 G87 cars to official dealers so they can eventually start showing them to potential buyers ?

Not sure how they can ship a finished model that's being currently still tested and you can see them if you are in Munich around the M division. Easy enough to know for sure is to ask to see it if it's true and not just a dealer mixing a G42 or a unicorn for the G87

Yeah, that's what I thought short after writing my post. I guess I should come again and ask explicitly to see the car. Then I should be able to report what's the case in a more assertive way

EDIT: Ok, I just made a call to someone else I know at the BMW dealer sales department and he said it's an M4, not an M2. The M2 will be available in April 2023 (we already knew that). The person who told me the opposite is a workshop receptionist, so closed case.

Lol. Yeah the G87 doesn't start production until December, so there was no way that was true.
