M240i Black Sapphire Build

Picked up my '22 M240i at the Performance Center yesterday. Wanted to share some pics as I have not seen a ton of Black Sapphire builds yet.

Beautiful car! Looks a lot like mine, with a few small exceptions.

BSM looks amazing in the sun, just gotta keep her clean.. Lol

Very nice.

For my BSM M240i, the red or cognac interiors were my first choices. I went with the cognac and have already received a few positive comments about the color combination. The red also looks great.

Every time I drive the M240i it impresses!

Great looking spec! How was the PCD? I plan on doing the same for my car when it finally comes in the next month or so.

There is no better way to have your car delivered. The entire staff is amazing. Its fun and educational. The hotel isnt great, but outside of that I have zero complaints. They received their M240's a couple of weeks ago and had to get them through their break-in period so I was one of the first to get to do the driving portion in one. They encourage you to drive hard and see what the car is capable of.

I'll definitely be doing it then, it sounds awesome. Do you know about how much longer you were delayed in taking delivery?

Once my vehicle arrived at the VPC and I could make a reservation it was 3 weeks out, but they told me they were booking end of August now so 4-5+ weeks. I was surprised I got in so early. I was preparing for an August delivery.

Dang, something I'll have to prepare for. Just curious about another thing, when did you have to decided and let your CA know you wanted to do PCD?

When I submitted the order for the car. If you haven't already, I would go ahead and mention it. The ship-to location will need to be adjusted to Greenville.
