Just throwing this out. If bmw ever gets the carplay 2. 0, any chance It'll fit id 7?

99% no, i would assume theres display/ratio requirements and id7 has the old curvy style layout on the instrument cluster

I feel like I'm in the minority not wanting Apple completely taking over my car. lol. I spend 8-9 hours a day on a Macbook pro. 3-4 hours a day on an iPhone. At this point i just use Apple maps in the car, but its not really a fully Apple UI... that map just takes up on the one screen when i need navigation. Just like Tesla's have been doing, a completely Apple-ified interior would just completely continue to take the soul out of the car. At least to me, when I drive my friends Tesla's they feel soullessly fast and built to be a dream on paper, not the real world.

All personal preference of course, but if the M240 is the last ICE car without big horrible screens, I'll keep it til those wheels fall off haha. Speaking of that, what major issues would I run into with this car? Assuming I'd want to have it 150k+ miles.
