Floor mats - suggestions

Hey everyone.

I'm not loving the look of the BMW all weather mats.

Was thinking about Weathertechs, but they don't have a G42 set yet. Will the M340i mats work? I'm thinking they will be a direct fit.

Any other suggestions? Need something for Fall/Winter. Pics if you have em.

Thanks

Tux mats is a good option I will be ordering those once the car gets delivered.

I went with the BWM for now, yeah, not impressive, still better than carpet and will do the job, if some other company ever makes new front floor mats, I'll replace them then.

Sit tight, I bet WeatherTech will have them soon. They seem to be pretty quick on new model uptake. I had a first-year Audi A5 Sportback that I got in December '17 and they were already available.

Tux mats are by far the most protective. I loved them in my 340 and their m240 say they are coming soon. Well worth the money.

It seems the BMW mats for the m240i fit the m340i, from what I'm reading. You think the Tux mats for m340i front will fit the front of the m240i?

No clue. Why not just wait until they are officially available for our car?

Thanks for the info & link - on top of serving a good purpose, those make the interior look more interesting!!!

Any rumors on estimated availability?

Tuxmat informed me they are looking at late August for availability, but I decided to pick up a small truck to drive in the winter and I will garage the m240i during snowy months. 😁

Have you ever had WeatherTech mats? That's all I've used on my last 3-4 cars and they always get faded or soiled so much that I can never get them back to black. The color just turns into a dull black/brown color.

Do the Tux mats fade or discolor in your experience?

In my experience the tuxmats wear and fade less than weathertechs while fitting better.

If they aren't ready by the time I get delivery I will just temporarily use the bmw all weather until the tuxmats come in.

Have you tried cleaning them with this? It should bring some life back to them, but would be waaay more effective if it has been used a few times a year, the matts would likely look like new.
