Ariel reveals a new model, Hipercar, that looks like a Decepticon.
The British manufacturer is best known for its hilariously fun-to-drive Atom cars. The new Hipercar has a 62.0-kWh battery pack that runs on an 800-volt architecture. Buyers can opt for rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, with a 290-hp Equipmake APM electric motor at each wheel. Total output for the all-wheel-drive variant is 1163 horsepower and 1327 pound-feet of torque, while the rear-drive version gets 581 hp and 664 pound-feet. Ariel also incorporated a turbine engine as a range extender. It makes about 47 hp and turns on to charge the batteries while on the move.

I'm sure it does well with pedestrians... turning them into grated cheese.
If it's anything like their previous cars, it isn't all for show at least. |

It seems like so many of these new EV hyper cars are ugly and concentrate only on numbers. Maybe that's just what I'm noticing.

Well, they didn't call it a 'hypercar' for nothing lol. Still, can't see it being outrageous like the Speirling.
