Front looks good. Rear looks a bit strange but maybe they (or aftermarket) will offer a matching rear diffuser which would improve the look.

I really don't think this is the final product. Maybe a prototype or something. The back just looks very very weird. It almost feels like a 3D printed custom body kit, fan made... Not refined, too boxy, almost like they didn't put thoughts into it.
It could also be the camera angle because it looks like the back leak that we had during summer which looks better.

I missed the previous M2 sellout from dealership a year+ ago, now I wish the early adopters ape-in on this version so I can get 1-2 (maybe even CS version) of the previous gen.

It's not that bad but definitely quirky. The 2-series is already a bit quirky, and this continues that trend. The single headlights instead of dual halos give it a weird face, and the ass implants can't be unseen. This horrible color doesn't help. Overall it's not a deal breaker of a design for me.

Ultimately what's gonna sell people on this is the driving experience and price. I'll be in the market for this car, but my #1 choice is definitely a Boxster S.

We’ve seen the G80/82. BMW will sign off on any horrid design.

The rear bumper on this latest abomination looks like a TIE fighter.
