Is was interesting when the media was able to drive the two G87 mules. The manual transmission car with base seats, was in the colorful M camo wrap. The auto transmission car with buckets, was still in the standard black/white camo. The general consensus was the manual mule was a base model, the auto mule was a competition. The black/white camo could be BMW giving a clue that car is still due for more testing and a later launch date.

And after seeing what the M2 looks like, deposit refunded. I ended up buying a 2022 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifolio instead. BMW salesman was none too happy, but I couldn't see myself driving that monstrosity.

To everyone who ends up buying one I say congrats just the same, I have no doubt the car will be a beast on the road, but I just couldn't do it.

ARs are nice cars, when they're not parked on the shoulder or on a tow truck.

I did a fair amount of research before buying it and really they didn't sound that unreliable aside from some electrical issues. The way it drives though, just amazing.

Not sure if you've seen this or not, but he talks about how the car goes into limp mode when pushed hard as well as a few other issues. They may have updated their programming to address things on newer models but can't say I know. Hope the car serves you well, sounds like you really like it.

Well, that was about 4 and a half years ago. I would hope Alfa made some fixes by now and made a reliable car. The dealer network is pretty sparse around here.

Exactly, Alfa has made a lot of improvements since then.
