That would be a huge bummer and reason to NOT buy the car. I hate this current car color palette for this one. The previous M2, M2comp and CS were amazing cars. Tough to live up to here.

I have to say I think BMW seem to pick the worst colour for their launch photos. The neutrals look awesome, and really show the form of the car off vs the red bmw have been using.

Any chance you could add silver as well as bronze wheels for the neutrals… I think black is the worst colour for alloys in general.

Great job with way

Thanks so much for this! I can hardly believe it, but this astonishing yellow (Phoenix? Speed?) actually speaks to me. The car just looks RIGHT in it!

I actually don't like it in BSM, a first for sure! I was genuinely surprised that losing all the details in black doesn't actually improve the design as it did with the G80 M3.

I also love the Portimao, Thundernight, and Silverstone examples. Overall I am most disappointed in the official colors.

They are 'contemplating it', but nothing is for certain. I think it's more than likely that this is it for colors until LCI.

Alongside all the Brooklyn grey 2 series, 3 series, 4 series, 5 series, m3/4, x3, x4, x3m x4m

I swear every bmw I see now is damn Brooklyn grey. Makes me not want to order it even though I do sort of like it.

Portimao Blue looks very nice, as does that yellow ( normally not a fan of yellow ), but it looks dope.

The British Racing Green photoshop looks really nice. I think that'll really suit the car, especially with Cognac interior.

Dakar looks mighty fine and would have been my choice.

Chin up though folks it only took a decade for the Spartanburg plant to offer individual on the Xs.

The H87 polymorph will be available in any colour!

Doesn't look bad in yellow.

Is that Dakar or generic yellow?

The green family wins this one. Some of those shades look pretty neat. I still don't want one. But someone on here will be happy with it. Maybe?

Obv. this design works really well in some colors, much better than others. The launch color to me is a miss. The fact that we can't have individual colors, for now, makes me go back to considering the M4 as I want a car for the long term and don't like the standard colors available.

Looks good in orange, hockenheim and the teal colors. Could we see some satin finishes?

Oxford Green Metallic might be killer with the Cognac interior.
That or Verde Ermes.

The plant is fully capable of handling individual colors. BMW just hasn't announced yet whether they will offer that option.

My guess is that they will.
