My salesman is hopeful. However, I am afraid he might be wrong (since when do enthusiasts know more than the salespersonel? /s). I guess we shall see when he can put the build in the system.
I knew that individual colors would not be available at launch. I just took your initial post as that is what you will get eventually. I too will go individual color when it becomes available.

My plan for now if I can't get individual pain at launch is to replace it later in the production cycle. We shall see.

Yeah and it pushes my build into M3 territory for cost. With the weight being similar I may be tempted to go for the more practical package if the cost difference isn't much.
Yeah at this point I might just get a used M4 if I can find black w/ red buckets.

If I can't even spec bucket seats until March like someone rumored, and will be forced to buy the Driver's package, I don't want the car at launch. No ordering guide this long after I put my order in the bank is getting ridiculous.

Oof, so close! Slicktop and manual is also a must for me!! Wish I could afford xDrive version but 95-100k too steep for my pockets.

I thought the plan with the M2 was for it to have the M3 seats, but really all your getting is the M240i seats standard?

unfortunately the only two out there (at least on autotrader) matching what you're looking for both have exterior carbon package and are $93k-$94k in Toronto Red. Also weird that neither has interior carbon

The US m2 has standard m3/m4 seats (sport seats w/ M lighting). The carbon buckets are extra, just like on the m3/m4.
