That’s the Thundernight Metallic paint. It’s the same car that they have for press shots/video that were taken at some (abandoned?) industrial plant. The lighting and filter is giving a somewhat blue look in the photo though.

Your viewing device may need calibrated. It looks extremely purple on mine.

I just downloaded the manual from BMW after setting up my car profile. This version is slightly different from the version OP posted, but not sure what the differences are. It has same number of pages, but slightly larger file size. The part number listed on page 2 matches the part number on my printed owner's manual, so this is the official one for the US.
