I remember, seeing this on a Saturday morning and the amount of people saying "This isn't real, BMW wants you to think it is" had me rollin hahaha

Denial is a strong human response. It just reminded me how some people are inflexible at keeping an open mind. Part of me couldn't completely fault them, they are not entrenched in the BMW ecosystem like we are to know any better. On the other hand, when I would post HD closeups of the car in camo where you can clearly see the same design as the leaked pics they still refused to even entertain the fact they were real. The psychology of it fascinated me. I couldn't help but think how they would respond once the car was officially revealed. One things for sure, it was nothing but crickets.

If we go by the “it is wearing the same tag” logic then this would be the same car that was in those early leaked photos.

I didn't know what to think and I'm still a bit unsure. If allocations go out at the end of Nov, I'll need to finalize my choice. Other colors help but the back is especially bad.

BTW, BMW AG uses the exact tag configuration on the German configurator. FYI, for those of you that believe the tags on the marketing/publication vehicles are registered to a vehicle, they are not. It is all done for marketing.

That rear end shot from the leaked photos is still probably the most unflattering one I’ve seen.
