Does anyone else have bubbles or imperfections on a stealth Xpel?

So I just had my car wrapped in stealth Xpel. I have seen some small bubbles. Nothing huge but definitely visibly noticeable. When I ask the installer they said the Xpel is "meant to be seen from 6th away." Does anyone else have bubbles? Here are some pictures. It's definitely less noticeable in the sunshine but in the shade they kinda pop out.

Edit, the one area, that's actually missing PPF in the corner will be fixed at least.

Those look more like dirt/dust particles trapped underneath, not bubbles. And the cut around the side fender vent looks bush league. Very amateur....

The installer needs to address these.

A small air bubble remained on my install. The installer redid that section.

Your installer is not very good. A little bit because he actually delivered the car back to you like that. But mostly because he's feeding you BS without just simply addressing the issues raised.

Doesn’t look like a good job. I would wait it out like 3 weeks for it to heal. if it still looks like that I would take it back. I had to take mines back 3 times to get imperfections fixed. Be aware they try to put the blame on you first that the paint was imperfect thus it looks imperfect.

Yeah it's been about 3 weeks now. I took it back for the first wash they fixed some issues. But they are claiming the bubbles happen. But I think a few of them have dirt underneath.

Bubbles do happen however they still need to be fixed by the installer. Either they didn't do it inside a environmentally controlled area or just made a simple mistake. Either way they need to fix it.

Maybe bring the film manufacturer into it and open a 'case' with them.

Is it Xpel? Suntek?

Bubbles can be a part of the PPF curing process, but should be addressed by the installer. I had STEK installed and got a few bubbles. After a few weeks, I brought it back and they used a syringe and some solution to "pierce" the tiny bubbles and flatten them out. Can't tell they were there now. A good shop like mine (I use Rehab Detail in Beachwood, Ohio) should take care of this…it's a part of the curing.

Your installer should help you out. If it is an Xpel product issue, the company will back it up. I've had really good results with Xpel with a few minor issues as well as their installers.

I even drove a car from Phoenix where I lived and had some Xpel PPF installed, lived in Northern VA for a year and when I got to Naples, FL, Xpel and the original installer had me go to a local installer here who fixed it for me. It was a few bubbles and a minor edge that had a pulling up issues.

Needless to say, the installer here got my new car business for PPF and window tint.

Don't sweat it, go get it fixed when you can and enjoy the car!

Picture of Gunmetal II in matte PPF

Can you post a few pictures of your Gunmetal II with matte PPF? I am trying to see how close it looks to frozen dark grey (but not dealing with the headaches of actual frozen paint).

That was my goal also to get close the frozen grey without the headache. It definitely has a different look depending on it being in the sun, shade or at night.

This is my STek DynoShield with 10,400 miles on the car. I don't have what youre talking about. It's not stealth, but, you would be able to see bubbles. That's a classic sign of working dirty. What looks like a bubble at :25, a few inches down from the fender line, is actually impact damage. Change settings to 2160p

I had issues with my PPF and showed pictures. My guy immediately acknowledged my issues and fixed every part I wasn't happy with for free. The way it should be. Same with two of my tints.
