It sounds like this may address one of my main complaints about the G42: a disconnected feeling with the throttle.

I'm curious how this would interact with driving modes. Does the throttle booster completely override the throttle mapping for all modes?

Throttle mapping for all drive modes would adopt whatever settings you choose on the throttle booster. All the remaining driving mode variables would remain intact just like from the factory (suspension/damper, steering weight, traction control, etc.)

Just out of curiosity, is the throttle curve for Sport Plus different than Sport?

I'm sure there is some nuance model to model and there may be some instances where there are next to zero differences but generally there is minor difference in the throttle mapping from factory between the 2 modes -- nothing like sport and comfort but still a difference in throttle sensitivity.

I assume Launch Control is not affected by this device? I'm asking, not really assuming. Assuming can be dangerous.

I had the same feeling until I put a downpipe on, the faster response time and the torque boost are huge.
