Is there an on/off button for wireless charging?

For those with wireless charging, is their a physical on/off button somewhere in the cupholder area next to the charging pad?

No, just works if the phone is in it

Why would you need it? Put the phone in screen down.

If you change your phone just for 5-10 minutes is not that great for the battery life. So it would be nice to turn it off it some cases.

It actually does. The charging coil is on the back of the phone, flip it over and it doesn’t charge.

Does this need to be Enabled anywhere in the software or menus? I have tried using it with my Samsung phone and saw no evidence it had worked, albeit for a fairly short time. Usually, my phone gets pretty warm when wireless charging at home, but it was cold after attempting this in the car.

Nope, I don't think there are any settings anywhere for it. I'd fiddle with the positioning of the phone (it has to be lined up) and if you have a case try taking it off. The blue light on the charging pad will come on if it's working.

Are you sure you have it? It was a part that was commonly removed on a lot of orders.

See which symbol you have
One is charging and the other is just nfc
