Yeah, I don't have that. Looks like that and active cruise were fatalities of the chip shortage for my car, which I'm ok with.

Thanks for confirming. That is the exact part# I have so that's a sigh of relief. Looks bad ass!

Just another item I found missing - no nets on back of the front seats. They’re now just smooth. Probably a cost cut.

Wow…… now where am I supposed to keep my abacus?

In all seriousness, that's just lame… pretty sad, wonder what other ways they are cutting costs that we don't know about yet…

Haven't got my car yet, but another UK customer just reported on babyBMW.net that their MY23 220i has got all the spec deletions that the US cars have seen.

I'm finding this thread really depressing. Been planning on moving up from a M235 this year, but losing such simple little niceties as the 12V socket in the trunk and the rear seat is annoying. I use those for cameras and GPS while on track. I'll miss the dash cubby.

The worst part is that once little things like this are gone, they never come back. And if they are deleting little things like this, what are they deleting that I can't see? What are they cheaping out on that will affect the durability of this car?

Where can we find the part number for the ambient LED that was in the door pocket/cup holder in 2022 models?

Does the 23 m240i have iconic sounds like the m340i I drive 8? I’m kinda deciding between switching my 22 m340 for a 23 and while I do know the pops are fake I do miss them from my z4 m40i.

Yes all G42 M240i's have the iconic sound or whatever they call it including the 22 model year with iDrive 7.

Coming from the Supra which had a small amount of real pops, I kind of prefer the M240i sounds as it makes it feel more engaging.
I know they are completely fake but it's good enough for me.
